"Behind the "Scheme of Things" with Nathan Yong: When Materials Speak"
On the occasion of his retrospective exhibition, Nathan Yong has invited a selection of brands to highlight the specificities of their materials and techniques.
Establishing a dialogue with the designer, they will detail the process that led to the creation of some of the exhibited pieces, highlighting unique knowledge, pushing further the boundaries of each material to open new application fields.
President's Design Awardee Nathan Yong (Designer of the Year 2008) will also evoke the making of this exhibition, marking the 20th anniversary of his design studio, and unveil the story behind a selection of new works.
He will share his thoughts on the industry and its evolutions over the past 20 years, exploring the key factors of enduring success and the changes he foresees in the industry.
